Laura Fekkes, founder of Online Tutoring NI, is a qualified Primary School Teacher who has taught in a range of primary schools and year groups across Northern Ireland and London.

Laura supports young learners through providing an online tutoring service offering tailored 1:1 learning support in KS1 and KS2 curriculum. This includes AQE and GL test preparation, as well as specialised support for Dyslexic learners.

Laura's Qualifications:

• BSc Hons Sport and Exercise Science (First Class Honours).

• PGCE Primary Education.

• MSc in Education (Distinction), specialising in Dyslexia and inclusive teaching.

Additional Masters modules and CPD's completed to improve Laura's teaching practice include:

• Cognitive development and memory in children and adolescents.

• Strategic teaching support for Dyslexic pupils.

• Developing literacy skills in learners with Dyslexia.

• Working memory impairments in children with specific learning difficulties.

• Developing numeracy skills on learners with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.

• Understanding stress and anxiety in autism and their impact on behaviour.
